Abstract:
OpenAIRE is the default socio-technical infrastructure for the implementation of Open Science within the European Research Area. This infrastructure is described as a CERIF-compliant research information management system for the European Union with an emphasis on system interoperability and international alignment around standards. The presentation also addresses the different OpenAIRE services -- from reporting to research funders to aggregating all repository-related services in a single portal for repository managers -- and the prospects for the project-funded network to turn into a legal entity in 2017.
