Abstract:
The presentation described the institutional strategy for the implementation of research data management at the Dublin Institute of Technology. The researchers' attitudes towards data sharing and deposit are examined and the various challenges analysed. Some areas within the FAIR approach are found to be more demanding than others from an advocacy perspective. The conclusion is that a change of mindset is required and that the progress needs to be gradual and to rely on a collaborative approach across institutions.
