    Using CRIS data to generate customized research outcome on university websites

    Using CRIS data becomes more and more important for universities but provides little direct benefit to present research outcome itself in public and to discover the university’s research expertise. Thus, we connected the CRIS data to our web content management system (WCMS) to provide a smooth solution for easy creating individual content on websites: On a personal, organizational and university level. Internal identifiers and the underlying organizational structure can be used as filters to directly create various lists of research outcomes. Furthermore, this method also includes the possibility to connect additional data spaces, e.g. repositories and other research information systems. Our approach enables us to comprehensively present and evaluate university research outcome to the public.
