Abstract
The presentation describes the architecture, functionality and information exchange workflows for the CERIF-compliant Flemish Research Information System (FRIS), which collects data from all institutional CRISs and a number of institutional repositories in Flanders. Plans for the platform enhancement are also introduced covering areas like open data management, improved visualisation tools and offering the information hosted in FRIS as Linked Open Data.
