Abstract
Research-intensive universities require integrated profiling, reporting, and discovery tools that align with institutional governance and enterprise systems. Successful implementation depends on coordinated data workflows and stakeholder engagement.
This presentation examines VIVO at Texas A&M University as a case study in institutional research intelligence. Key themes include: ● Implementation strategy and governance alignment ● Integration with enterprise systems and data pipelines ● Faculty profiling, reporting, and discovery services ● Lessons learned in adoption, data quality, and sustainability
Description
The presentation argues that semantic research information platforms can enhance institutional insight when technical deployment is matched by governance clarity and integration planning.
