Abstract
In the framework of the project "Human resources development with the support of an integrated information system for the evaluation of research results" carried out at the University of Žilina in 2012-2014, a specific information system was created for the evaluation of the institutional research staff in the area of research activity. The project database stored in this system contains the whole set of funded projects -- both national- and international-level ones -- that are run at the University, which allows a much more effective project management. Work is in progress to link this institutional project system to the national-level SK-CRIS platform in Slovakia.
