Abstract
European research infrastructures increasingly emphasize cross-institutional knowledge graphs, linked open data, and interoperability across national and disciplinary boundaries. TIB has contributed significantly to advancing semantic research information and research graph integration in Europe.
The presentation highlights recent work conducted at TIB related to VIVO and research graph approaches. Key themes include:
● Embedding institutional VIVO data within broader research graph ecosystems
● Alignment with European open science and interoperability frameworks
● Enhancing discoverability and reuse through linked data practices
● Connecting institutional platforms with European-scale infrastructures
The presentation argues that the impact of VIVO increases when positioned within interconnected European semantic infrastructures, enabling scalable and interoperable research information environments.
