Outgoing euroCRIS President Keith Jeffery provides an account of euroCRIS history since its very beginning in 1987 and the evolution of the organisation since its formal set up in 2002. euroCRIS has come a long way with numerous and impressive achievements, but there's also a need to keep the current challenges in mind in order to make euroCRIS a sustainable and successful initiative for the advancement of efficient research information management strategies.
