The presentation describes the features of the DSpace-CRIS open source solution and examines a number of use cases for its functionality such as metrics, publications, researcher networks, usage statistics and research data management. RDM features arising from the platform integration with CKAN are specifically described. The roadmap for future DSpace-CRIS development priorities is shown together with a number of operational DSpace-CRIS implementations in different European countries.
