Abstract
The presentation describes the journey taken by the Office of the Dean of Research at the Istanbul Technical University (ITÜ) to implement an institutional research information management system. The project, started in May 2023, involved the creation of a big data ecosystem—an advanced digital transformation initiative that enables real-time monitoring, evaluation, and interpretation of institutional data. This is the internal Beehub system, to which the openly available PURE-based research portal was added. This research portal at https://research.itu.edu.tr became operational in May 2024.
