Abstract:
There is a notable increase of research organizations using Current Research Information Systems to collect, manage and report on the activities of their faculty. Thomson Reuters has taken a new approach to the issues faced by administrators, funders, researchers, faculty heads and IT specialists
with the launch of Research In View. We will show how Thomson Reuters has created a new
CRIS that can help the researcher and their organization to reduce the time spent uploading data, duplicating work already done and facilitate the easy transfer of the data for a variety of uses.
