Abstract:
The presentation describes the ongoing project for building an interoperable CERIF-compliant CRIS infrastructure at institutional and national level in Greece. The project aims to have the same CRIS software platform – developed by EKT in Athens on a native CERIF database – running at all institutions taking part in the initiative, using CERIF-XML as a means to ensure interoperability and providing OpenAIRE compliance. The presentation also presents the Greek Researcher Directory, a comprehensive by-invitation-only database of Greek researchers which is proving very popular as an identification tool among Greek authors.
