dc.description26 slides.-- Presentation delivered at the session "Developments in Research Monitoring, Evaluation and Benchmarking"en_US
The presentation addresses the need to improve current research evaluation practices and argues that quantitative evaluation strategies based on network analysis, text mining and visualisation techniques should be used as a complement to traditional qualitative evaluation. Such improvement on evaluation techniques should strongly benefit from the standardised environment arising from an ever growing system interoperability, while at the same time the ACUMEN project proposes empowering researchers through a tailor-made evaluation process.en_US
