dc.description.abstractThe presentation described the research information management workflows and system at the Slovak Academy of Sciences. SAV operates a MARC-based Advanced Rapid Library system whose records are provided by the staff at the Research Institutes and managed by the Library, which also provides support and training. The ARL system covers a wide range of areas like person/researcher, corporation (institute) and action (project, conference, etc) and provides the basic for the production of annual reports and for the research assessment of the institutes.en_US
