    PeruCRIS national CRIS is live

    A PeruCRIS project update is provided a few months after the presentation delivered at the CRIS2022 Conference in Dubrovnik. The PeruCRIS national CRIS has now been released at https://www.perucris.pe/home and up-to-date content is currently being ingested into the national portal covering interlinked CERIF entities such as researchers, organisations, projects, publications and equipment. The presentation summarises the work done by the PeruCRIS project in areas like (among others) standardisation, persistent identifiers and pilot interoperability initiatives for research information exchange with various institutional CRIS systems in the country based on different software solutions such as DSpace-CRIS and Pure. A roadmap is finally shared showing the next steps for the project to undertake.

    PeruCRIS: Scope and progress in the implementation of the first release of the Peruvian CRIS platform

    Previous presentations of the PerúCRIS project for developing a national CRIS in Peru held at various euroCRIS events have shown the scope and the aims of this initiative based on an open source solution. Now, as this national platform approaches its release in production, a summary is provided of the PerúCRIS project achievements, its various ongoing worklines and its pending steps and future plans. The expectation is for the first modules of the platform to be released in July 2022 at https://perucris.pe. Some emphasis is made on the system interoperability pilots between the national platform and a number of institutional CRIS in Peru based on both DSpace-CRIS and Pure.
