    Sucupira - A Platform for the Evaluation of Graduate Education in Brazil

    Brazil has a vigorous program for graduate studies with more than 6.400 courses of various knowledge areas all over the country. These courses have to send annually its data of professors, students, dissertations, projects, etc. to Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES), who is responsible for collecting and processing data through Sucupira platform. Nowadays, CAPES is in the process of developing and implementing a Current Research Information System (CRIS) for improve the quality of data received and, for consequence, available.
