    A one platform approach to research management

    The presentation makes the case for a single research information system that is able to cater the whole research project lifecycle, from very early opportunities for project proposals to the final submission of project outputs and impact case studies to the research assessment exercise (REF). Emphasis is made on the need for the appropriate research information exchange mechanisms to be available in order to ensure system interoperability.
