    Dialnet CRIS: The National Collaborative Spanish CRIS

    The presentation describes the Dialnet ecosystem, which comprises the largest Spanish-language research literature database worldwide, a set of metrics to analyse such outputs and the collaborative Dialnet CRIS research information management system. The role played by research libraries in the content ingest workflows into this ecosystem is highlighted, as well as the endeavour to build a national research portal in Spain by bringing together the various universities currently operating instances of Dialnet CRIS.

    An update from Dialnet in the Spanish Research Ecosystem

    The presentation provides an update on the work recently conducted by the Dialnet Foundation on the Dialnet CRIS research information system. These activities include -- among others -- the CERIF-XML export of Dialnet CRIS data, the release of the funding and projects entities in the CRIS or the launching of Dialnet CRIS user groups under the umbrella of the Spanish CRIS Network (REBIUN). Finally, as an AI-related workline of potential interest for the just-launched euroCRIS AI4CRIS working group, a snapshot is provided of the work on a multidimensional knowledge map of Spanish research.

    Dialnet CRIS: Data Aggregation to build a National CRIS

    Dialnet CRIS is gradually consolidating as a service to provide research information management and public visibility to research institutions as well as a tool to build multiple-organisation research portals. The latest milestone has been the confluence with the Hércules Project to build a National portal. This will provide Dialnet CRIS with the whole picture of the Research Information in Spain. The presentation summarises the services offered by Dialnet and how its research portals are gradually been adopted by institutions across the whole country and even as a suitable solution for regional research information aggregations.

    Dialnet CRIS as an assistant to prepare assessment applications

    The mid-2024 Dialnet Global Congress was held in Logroño (La Rioja-Spain). The event brought together a number of agents of Spain and Latin America involved in the field of Research A specific Working Group was created to assist researchers in the preparation of bibliometric reports to apply for assessment calls. The aim is to facilitate the process for researchers and to provide a tool that can be used for both internal and external evaluation applications.
