    Symplectic’s first repository integration framework focused on passing the high quality metadata captured in Elements to a linked repository - as part of the deposit process. This worked well for our institutional clients at the time, but the recent development of expansive funder and institutional OA policies created the need for a more responsive, two-way integration between Elements and a variety of institutional controlled repository platforms.
