Abstract
The presentation provides an overview of the growing relevance of the aggregated Turkish scholarly research output by examining various bibliometric indicators. The significant growth in the number of Turkish universities included in successive editions of the international quality rankings is examined. Finally, a description is provided for the mechanisms used to enhance research quality at Yaşar University both in terms of practices and systems. The ARSIMED system features at https://research.yasar.edu.tr/arsimed/ are shown as an example for a data-driven approach to enhancing research quality.
