Abstract
The presentation describes the implementation of the ´Expertise UNIMI´ VIVO-based platform at the University of Milan, which runs on top of the institutional IRIS CRIS. The information exchange between the institutional CRIS and its VIVO-based research portal is achieved via a mapping process between the IRIS data schema and the VIVO ontologies that other CINECA-supported institutions in Italy can re-use. The emphasis for the VIVO portal lies on expertise discovery, and the usage figures show a large number of searches being carried out in 2020.
