Abstract
The presentation describes the work on research impact assessment carried out by DANS within the OpenAIRE2020 project. This involves the data mining of full-text outputs in order to identify the research funder and establish the link between funder and publications that will allow to measure the research impact for a given project and/or funder. Issues around project and funder identification found in the process are discussed, together with the most effective information source (text-mining or CRIS systems) for assessing research impact.
