Abstract:
An example for the coupling of an institutional CRIS (Pure at the Technical University Eindhoven) and VIVO is provided as a case study for system interoperability between both systems. The aim of this ongoing TU/e project is to provide a single research portal for several institutions, and the presentation examines the advantages of using a flexible, highly-configurable open source solution for the purpose instead of the default CRIS research portal designed to serve just one institution.
