Abstract:
This guest presentation at the EARMA Digital Conference 2021 addresses the role Current Research Information Systems (CRIS) can play in the implementation of Open Science. By providing examples from institutional as well as national/regional CRIS systems like the Flanders Research Information Space (FRIS), the presentation shows the various ways in which CRIS systems support the implementation of Open Access and Research Data Management. Some emphasis is made on the role that CRIS systems can play in the development of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) via system interoperability.
