Abstract:
The presentation introduces the OpenAIRE-funded DRIS+ project to enhance the euroCRIS Directory of Research Information Systems (DRIS). Following an introduction to the DRIS and its features, the DRIS+ project goals and achievements are summarised -- these include a new geolocation feature for DRIS entries, the development of an API to automatically exchange metadata for CRIS entries with external stakeholders, notably OpenAIRE, and the inclusion of 'OpenAIRE' and 'RDM+' badges on CRIS records to facilitate their identification when already OpenAIRE-compliant or when holding research datasets ortheir associated metadata. It is argued that the community input -- mostly from institutional CRIS managers -- is critical to consolidate the implementation of these features. The presentation concludes with a live demo of the DRIS API features.
