CERIF is described as a key standard to ensure national and international CRIS system interoperability and CERIF-based technical coordination mechanisms are shown that are used for research information exchange between institutions and national/regional research portals. The gradual emergence of a CRIS infrastructure in Latin America is also addressed, together with community initiatives that may foster collaboration across institutions and CRIS projects. |
