Abstract:
The Research Portal Denmark at https://forskningsportal.dk/ aims to build a Danish national data infrastructure collecting and aligning the best data available, from local, national and global sources. This open-source-based portal provides robust and open insights and analytics of Danish research on a national level. The portal is fed from four parallel publication databases combining global commercial sources with local CRIS sources in order to get a broader and more complete view of Danish research. Critical processes related to data processing are described such as data alignment and enrichment, standardisation, persistent identification and deduplication. Work is currently focused on research publications but future plans include other research outputs and entities such as patents, research datasets, funders and grants.
