Abstract:
As a part of the Scientific and Technological Foresight (STF) project led by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education, the University of Zagreb Computing Centre (Srce) is creating -- with support from the Centre for Scientific Information of the Ruđer Bošković Institute -- the national Croatian research information system called CroRIS. CroRIS is designed as a CERIF-based national research information system that will integrate a large amount of data regarding research in Croatia, including data about researchers, institutions, projects, publications, products, patents, equipment, services etc.

The presentation is a follow-up for a previous one delivered at the CRIS2022 Conference in Dubrovnik earlier this year and addresses the development and implementation milestones achieved by the CroRIS project in the last six months. The talk is focused on the challenges faced by the project and their solutions, such as data curation and long-term insurance of the data quality, multilingualism and others.
