Title: | CroRIS Data Quality Issues and Possible Solutions | Authors: | Udovičić, Petra Orel, Ognjen |
Keywords: | research information management;current research information systems;national CRIS;CroRIS;data quality;data quality improvement;Croatia | Issue Date: | 1-Jun-2023 | Publisher: | euroCRIS | Conference: | Membership Meeting 2023 – Spring (Brussels) | Abstract: | There have been previous presentation of the Croatian national CRIS (CroRIS) at various euroCRIS events. These provided updates on its architecture, design, modules and the role it will take as a NOSC service catalogue as well. This presentation addresses the so far little-discussed topic of data quality, especially taking into account the various sources of data being migrated and blended into CroRIS and the large number of its everyday users. The presentation describes the complex research information landscape in Croatia prior to the arrival of CroRIS and the various workflows and system role definitions adopted by the national CRIS initiative to optimise the quality of the data held in it and the way it's displayed to the outside world. |
