Abstract:
Launched in 2018, the Ohio Innovation Exchange (OIEx) serves as a driver of economic development and innovation. This gateway to innovative partnerships stimulates increased collaboration between Ohio’s universities, industry partners, and other researchers across the globe. An inter-university network of industry and research professionals facilitate and expedite these requests. The OIEx provides access to more than 10,000 STEMM-focused faculty experts, 45,000 licensing opportunities (patents) and shared laboratory and specialized equipment, research services, and centers/institutes. The OIEx is an initiative of Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE).
