Abstract:
The presentation introduces the German CRIS map ("FIS Landkarte") project led by the Commission for Research Information in Germany (KFiD) and the DINI Working Group on Research Information Systems. The project aims to produce a fully up to date snapshot of the available institutional CRIS infrastructure in the country. The slides show the multiple 'research questions' the FIS Landkarte project will be trying to answer, among them an analysis of the CRIS infrastructure by region and by software solution, as well as an examination of the degree of adoption by these systems of the German KDSF standard (Core Research Data) that has often been presented in previous euroCRIS meetings. The two-way links between the German FIS Landkarte and the euroCRIS Directory of Research Information Systems (DRIS) are highlighted together with the possibility of their mutual feeding.
