Abstract:
The presentation provides an updated snapshot of the progress the OpenAIRE AMKE towards the harvesting and aggregation of metadata on research outputs from many different sources including CRIS systems. The way the interoperability happens between the OpenAIRE Graph and the research information publicly exposed by CRIS systems is via the OpenAIRE Guidelines for CRIS Managers, currently in its version 1.2.0. CRIS vendors are encouraged to implement the appropriate compliance mechanisms with these guidelines so they're able to offer out-of-the-box interoperability to their customer institutions. The work the FAIRCORE4EOSC project is undertaking for the definition of a Metadata Schema and Crosswalk Registry (MSCR) is described, together with the progress around the OpenAIRE CRIS Validator.
