Abstract:
The Barcelona Declaration on Open Research Information (DORI) is the outcome of a workshop organised in Barcelona in Nov 2023. The participants in this event hosted by SIRIS Foundation issued a call for open research information as the basis for transparent workflows for open science monitoring, research assessment and evidence-based decision-making. A year later, the Barcelona DORI has been formally signed by 97 organizations in 23 countries. On top of this, 47 organizations providing data, services and infrastructure (including euroCRIS) are formal supporters of the Declaration. The presentation explains the objectives and the roadmap for the initiative and summarises the discussions held at the Sep 23-24 Barcelona DORI conference in Paris. Some examples for early movers (include Sorbonne Université and the CWTS Leiden ranking) are also showcased.
