Abstract:
The SELRIM PROJECT (South European Link for Research Information Management) ran from 2015 to 2016. SELRIM was launched by CINECA (Italy), CSUC (Catalonia), EKT (Greece) and FCT/FCCN (Portugal) in Nov 2015 to share views on the development of Research Information Management Systems (RIMS) in their respective countries. The main focus of the project was on collaboration, CERIF, open source technologies and standards, and on how to identify differences and commonalities.

The unique selling point of the project was that it required each project partner to contribute specific knowledge on a topic and offer it to the others. At the same time, each project partner expressed an interest in the experiences of the other partners, including topics they themselves were not yet familiar with. SELRIM project partners were able to benefit from the cooperation, especially by exchanging specific knowledge on the topics of CERIF, ORCID and DSpace-CRIS.
