Abstract:
The presentation summarises some of the current activities conducted by SURF in the realm of open research information management. The effort to promote resilient open research information is stressed under changing geopolitical circumstances. Three recently awarded national research information projects are described. BROCCOLI, the Dutch Open Research Information Hub, aims to cover open science monitoring, responsible research assessment and the monitoring of publisher deals. The Dutch Repository Federation (DURF) will take on the enhancing the organization, governance, and quality of metadata within existing repositories and CRIS systems where the former DARE project left. Finally, MORIS, the Modular Open Research Information System for the Applied Sciences, aims to extend the advanced institutional research information management practices available across the country to all 36 Universities of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands in order to achieve the quality, completeness, and openness of research information that is required for steering, reporting and discoverability.
