Abstract:
This presentation from the Belgian PURE Use Group holder Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) introduces the CRIS and its users in the county, either as independent users or as part of the multitenant solution offered by the Flemish Government WEWIS Department. The research information management workflows for the platform and its interoperation with the FRIS Flemish regional CRIS are described. Emphasis is made on the harmonisation of the research classification schemes in Pure via its FRIS module. This regional-level harmonisation includes funding codes (FIN) and the Flemish discipline codes, the latter ones having recently been updated. The presentation examines the implications of such an update and how the impact analysis is conducted.
