Title: | FAIR-IMPACT: expanding FAIR solutions across Europe | Authors: | Dillo, Ingrid | Keywords: | FAIR-IMPACT;european open science cloud;FAIR data principles;advocacy;case studies;DANS | Issue Date: | 14-May-2025 | Publisher: | euroCRIS | Conference: | Membership Meeting 2025 – Spring (Leuven) | Abstract: | The now finished FAIR-IMPACT was an EU-funded, DANS-led project for the realisation of a FAIR EOSC by supporting the implementation of FAIR-enabling practices across scientific communities and research outputs at a European, national, and institutional level. As opposed to its FAIRCORE4EOSC sister project, FAIR-IMPACT hasn't featured that often on the programme for previous euroCRIS events. FAIR-IMPACT aimed to support the implementation of FAIR-enabling practices, tools and services. The presentation summarises the project design and methodology, shows its 28-strong consortium and emphasises its activity on areas like PIDs, metrics & FAIR assessment, metadata and ontologies. Some partner use cases and implementation stories are finally described, including a reference to the 13 national roadshows the project held across Europe. |
