The presentation provided an introduction to euroCRIS work in research information management and to the CERIF metadata standard architecture and applications. The research information management infrastructure in The Netherlands, with initiatives like METIS, NARCIS and the Digital Author Identifier DAI, was provided as an example for good system integration and interoperability and projects were highlighted such as MICE and CERIFying Snowball Metrics in the UK and the Spanish initiative for CERIFication of the National Harmonised CV (CVN).
