Abstract

Back in February, euroCRIS and EARMA held a <a href="https://eurocris.org/joint-eurocrisearma-webinar-rim-v-rma-mutual-areas-interest-between-research-information-management" target="_blank">first joint event</a> to explore the boundaries and synergies between Research Management and Administration (RMA) and Research Information Management (RIM). As a follow-up to this previous event, this 2nd virtual euroCRIS – EARMA meeting aims to look into the way institutions deal with the early stages of project management. These cover from a very early project idea to its formalisation as an official proposal that will eventually get awarded funding within a specific research funding call and get an award contract signed.<br><br>The session aims to showcase a number of institutional case studies to explore how effectively universities in Europe are handling these early stages in a project lifecycle and what systems they are using for the purpose.
