Item type:Publication, Integrated Research Input & Output System (IRIOS-2) – An Overview(euroCRIS, 2012-06-07); ; ; ; IRIOS will support RCs and HEIs to collaboratively maintain grant records, and for HEIs to collaborate at a finer-grained level in research funding applications; a business-to-business platform supporting the maintenance and exchange of grant and output information. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, RMAS – Delivering an integrated Research Management & Administration System(euroCRIS, 2012-06-08); ; ; ; In 2009, two feasibility studies were carried out to ascertain if there was a need for a ‘cradle to grave’ research and administration system. Several Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) expressed interest, identifying problems encountered when dealing with the management of research activities. With no supplier offering a comprehensive solution, the pathfinders began to solve the problem through the RMAS project. The Universities of Exeter, Kent and Sunderland, in conjunction with Nexus began the development of a framework which would allow data from the RMAS modules to be passed between systems and institutions via a Central Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, CERIF for Datasets (C4D) – An Overview(euroCRIS, 2012-06-07); ; ; ; The JISC funded IRIOS (Integrated Research Input and Output System) project developed a demonstrator integrating research information input (projects) and output (publications) datasets allowing data to be linked and exported in CERIF format. C4D (CERIF for Datasets), extends this platform to manage research datasets as outputs from research projects. Although research datasets vary and are extremely independent, they have some commonality that can be recorded in CERIF. C4D will ‘CERIFy’ existing research dataset metadata conventions, and provide access to research data in an environment which holds information on research projects and other more conventional research outputs. C4D will also explore the commonality of research dataset metadata, how much of this can be represented in CERIF and explore the possibility of implementing this in a cloud environment. C4D will use live datasets from three UK universities to test the process of ‘CERIFying’ dataset metadata. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, C4D (CERIF for Datasets) – An Overview(euroCRIS, 2012-06-07); ; ; ; The overall aim of C4D is to develop a framework for incorporating metadata into CERIF such that research organisations and researchers can better discover and make use of existing and future research datasets. A subject specific demonstrator will be built and verified at the three partner HEIs. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Research Management and Administration (RMA)(euroCRIS, 2021-02-11)The presentation provides an overview of the research support areas covered under the research management and administration (RMA) banner using the ARMA Professional Development Framework (PDF) as a guidance. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Research Information Management system (KRIMSON) at Kent(euroCRIS, 2016-06-11); The aim of the presentation is to outline the plan for the Kent CRIS and the progress to date. The focus will be on the managerial, organisational and technical challenges that have occurred and been addressed. Some of these are generic but there are many that are CRIS specific. It is hoped that others will be able to learn from our experiences. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, CASRAI-UK: Using the CASRAI approach to develop standards for communicating and sharing research information in the UK(euroCRIS, 2016-06-09); ; ; ; This paper explains how the Consortia Advancing Standards in Research Administration Information (CASRAI) might be used to share research information in an open and sustainably governed approach, led by research organisations.
