Abstract: 
The presentation describes the role and the agenda of the Office of the Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Slovak Republic for the Development of the Civil Society. This is the Office in charge of the implementation of both the Strategy for the Development of Civil Society and the Open Government Partnership Initiative in Slovakia. The initiative for the implementation of Open Educational Resources and Open Science (including Open Access) falls under the area of Open Government. CVTI SR is to lead such implementation, which includes the setting up of a repository network in the country.
