Abstract:
DuraSpace is a non-profit organization that provides leadership and innovation for open technologies. The DuraSpace community is composed by over 150 members with almost 3,000 installations of its three core open source projects: DSpace, Fedora and VIVO. euroCRIS is one of DuraSpace's many partner organizations together with the Conferederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR), SHARE, ORCID, the Research Data Alliance (RDA) and Archivematica to mention but a few. The presentation provides an update on the new features to be included in the forthcoming versions of these core platforms and explores the areas where a fruitful collaboration is feasible between DuraSpace and euroCRIS, including the IRII initiative for an International Research Information Infrastructure.
