Keywords: | research information management;research libraries;surveys;current research information systems;institutional implementation | Issue Date: | 1-Nov-2018 | Publisher: | euroCRIS | Conference: | Pure International Conference 2018 | Abstract: | At last year’s Pure International Conference in Barcelona, we encouraged you to participate in a global Survey of Research Information Management Practices, jointly administered by euroCRIS and OCLC Research. This year we will be sharing the findings from that survey. With more than 300 survey respondents from 40 nations, the survey provides a powerful and current snapshot of the state of the research information management ecosystem worldwide. In this presentation, we will particularly focus on findings relevant to the Pure community, examining research information management uses and functions, stakeholders, regional distinctions and incentives, interoperability, and the adoption of persistent identifiers. The findings will be published in late 2018 as an OCLC Research Report. |
