dc.description22 slides.-- Presentation delivered within Session 5 at Day IV of the (virtual) 7th Omega-PSIR User Group Meeting.-- Full event programme available at https://conference.omegapsir.io/en_US
Research project is one of the main entities of the CERIF model, together with person (researcher) and organisational unit. The presentation outlines the kinds of research projects projects there are and the way projects are coded in CERIF, i.e. the specific metadata set used to describe them. The links to the two additional main entities besides other secondary entities like research results and research facilities are explained with examples. Differences are finally examined in the way research projects are addressed from institutional CRIS, funder CRIS and CRIS systems supporting research infrastructures.en_US
