A Survey of Research Information Management Practices was jointly carried out by euroCRIS and OCLC Research from October 2017 to January 2018. In this presentation, we will share preliminary findings from this survey, and build upon earlier research conducted by euroCRIS and EUNIS in 2016, which examined the use of and interoperability between CRISs and institutional repositories (IRs) in European research organizations.en_US
The goal of the most recent survey is to inform the research community about the goals, purposes, and scope of research information management practices. These include the creation of registries for institutional research outputs, awards/grants management, academic activity reporting workflows, as well as publicly available researcher expertise profiles. It also examines institutional stakeholders, workflows, interoperability, and standards in use.-
