Abstract:
A case study is provided for the implementation of a standalone institutional VIVO research information management system at the University of Osnabrück in Lower Saxony, Germany. The processes for collecting the institutional research information are described, together with the collaborative work with the VIVO community in the country. The potential application of the non-binding Research Core Data Set (KDSF) that institutional CRIS systems across Germany are widely adopting as a standard for information exchange is discussed.
